Kerdyk Real Estate is an independent commercial, residential and management real estate firm with about 50 employees, including brokers. As vice mayor and commissioner in Coral Gables, Kerdyk initiated the $2-million ‘parknership’ program to purchase and enhance open spaces and parks. He also protected the city’s zoning laws, supported historic preservation over development and developed a downtown landscaping plan, as well as the Coral Gables Trolley, a free, intracity connector system serving 1.25 million riders annually.
