Kerdyk Real Estate is thrilled to announce that we have secured a lease of 5,073 square feet at 999 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Suite 100 in Coral Gables, for the new home of the Guatemalan Consulate. This exciting news solidifies Coral Gables’ reputation as a destination for international diplomacy.

The Guatemalan Consulate Finds its Home in Coral Gables

“The Consul General of Guatemala is a welcome addition to Coral Gables which is already home to as many as 21 other Consulates General and foreign government offices as well as numerous multinational corporate headquarters in the City Beautiful,” said William H. ‘Bill’ Kerdyk, Jr., President and CEO of Kerdyk Real Estate. “Many diplomatic offices are attracted to Coral Gables due to its international and multicultural orientation, close proximity to Miami International Airport and excellent accessibility to public transportation.” The Guatemalan Consulate has additional offices in 23 metropolitan cities in the United States. For the last 25 years, their Miami office has been located at 1101 Brickell Avenue, and we are happy to have assisted them in their move to Coral Gables.

Kerdyk Real Estate Welcomes the Guatemalan Consulate

We are proud to have Kerdyk Real Estate’s Office Specialist Lourdes Cuzan, who handled the transaction, on our team. Lourdes is a former Chair of the Coral Gables International Affairs Council, and her experience and connections within the city have been invaluable in securing this lease. “The Consulate of Guatemala has been a longtime friend of the City of Coral Gables and an important partner in the City’s international outreach efforts,” said Lourdes. “We are extremely pleased to welcome Consul General Rosa Maria Merida de Mora and the Guatemalan government-at-large to the City’s international family.” We look forward to the new home of the Guatemalan Consulate at 999 Ponce de Leon Blvd and the many contributions they will make to the city’s vibrant international community.
